3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
2 days from an RACP office location per week,

Job Description
The role:
This position sits within Finance and is responsible for overseeing the College’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
The Finance Department is responsible for the financial integrity of the College, including the financial framework, balance sheet, statutory and management accounting, costing and business continuity. The Finance Department is also responsible for the efficient and effective provision of services and support on all financial matters for the college’s internal stakeholders, board and membership.
As the FP & A Manager you will provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions, optimise performance:
· Help develop strategic business plans and proposals which analyse the feasibility of College opportunities and to implement these plans throughout College.
· Managing the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
· Developing and maintaining financial models, analysing financial data, and communicating findings to senior management.
· To assist with the implementation of ERP system.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential
Ability to foster a productive workplace and develop good working relationships with Office Bearers, Fellows and other staff
Commercial background allied to strong analytical
Ability to maintain decorum under stressful situations
Ability to mediate and negotiate with others
Excellent time management skills
Logical thinking and decision-making skills
Understanding of legalities involved in commercial transactions and property.
High level written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated experience in procurement and communicating with external stakeholders and suppliers
Initiative and self-direction
Solid and stable personality with strong attention to detail and complies with all policies and procedures.
High levels of ethics and ability to gain trust quickly and easily
Proficiency in MS suite.
Desired
Experience in professional membership organisations.
Knowledgeable of the Australian health environment.
Ability to understand political environments and interpret data accordingly
This is a 12 month initial contract role.
