Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.  

Job Description

About the Role

In Australia and New Zealand, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for health physicians is essential for maintaining professional standards and licensure. RACP have a long history as an AMC accredited CPD provider for both physicians and paediatricians in Australia. There are specialist regulatory requirements that must be achieved, and RACP offers members guidance throughout the annual CPD cycle.

The primary purpose of this position is to develop high-quality, highlyvalued and utilised online learning resources aimed at supporting RACP members’ CPD, professionalism and life-long learning. This involves leading and working across the end to end design and development process for the CPD program from need identification in collaboration with GIP, development, iteration and testing, through to delivery and measurement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop high quality educational content for online learning resources, products and initiatives
  • Strategic and operational planning and management of online learning resources including evaluation
  • Leading the consultation process for content development engaging in design thinking methodologies
  • Conduct research, industry scans and literature reviews to inform content creation
  • Prototyping or validating resources with members
  • Manage the content production process and timeline to meet delivery targets, ensuring other key internal stakeholders are informed and consulted where necessary
  • Utilising data to inform resource development, evaluation and improvements. Ensure resources are targeted and will be useful for target member segments adjusting plans as required.
  • Work with committees, working groups, members and subject matter experts to review, provide feedback, test and validate resources in development

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Attributes

  • Tertiary qualification or experience in a relevant field (communications, education, medical education, e-learning, health)
  • Previous experience in project management
  • Experience in the development and delivery of adult education, especially online or social learning resources
  • Experience in research
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed analytical and information literacy skills
  • Proven ability to interact and establish good working relationships with people at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of highstakes projects
