Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.  

Job Description

The RACP is undertaking a significant transformation program which is designed to enhance member value, modernise core systems, and build the digital and data capabilities needed to thrive in a changing health and education landscape, referred to as Project TRELLIS. The Program's key goals are to significantly improve member satisfaction, employee experience, and reduce cost to serve.

The Content Lead sits within the member experience workstream within the program. The role is responsible for defining and implementing a content strategy which supports the delivery of the member experience vision and leading program content development, optimisation and migration activities.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Define and implement a content strategy that is aligned with the program’s objectives, experience vision and organisational goals.
  • Establish and rollout content governance frameworks, workflows, and guidelines to ensure quality and consistency across channels.
  • Champion content excellence across the organisation, influencing adoption of best practices and new ways of working.
  • Collaborate with UX, design, content managers and stakeholders to ensure content supports seamless member journeys, aligns to brand guidelines and delivers on experience goals.
  • Lead current content audit and assessment.
  • Oversee, plan and coordinate content delivery activities to support digital member experiences, ensuring completion as per program milestones. This includes- creation of new content, optimisation of legacy content and migration of content to new CMS (Content Management System).
  • Collaborate with product owner, business analyst and technology teams to define content models (I.e. Page templates, reusable components, taxonomies, metadata).
  • Collaborate with product owner, business analyst and technology teams to define content governance requirements within the CMS (Content management system) including permissions, roles, workflows.
  • Support testing and CMS testing activities as appropriate.
  • Lead training activities for content authors, approvers, and business users in effective CMS use including creation of documentation and guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor content managers assigned to the program. (1-2 contractors)

Desired Skills and Experience

In order to be successfully shortlisted for this role we do require the following experience

Essential
 

  • 7 years professional experience working a Content Manager or Content Lead or similar role. 
  • Experience leading the development and rollout of a content strategy and content governance frameworks
  • Proven experience creating, editing, and optimising content for digital platforms (websites, portals etc).
  • Experience working on large-scale digital / experience transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Optimizely preferred).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Understanding of human-centered design.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • IT Capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video / conferencing platforms

Desired

  • Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
  • Previous experience working in a membership organisation and/or healthcare or higher education.
