Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.  

Job Description

About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to plan, consult and deliver the implementation of the new Australia Medical Council Model standards and procedures for Advanced Training Programs in collaboration with the Senior Implementation Officer. The Project Officer will help map and develop the accreditation requirements for the Advanced Training Programs to ensure there is consistency and clarity across the programs. A key function of the role is developing and implementing the change and communication strategy to ensure stakeholders are ready for the changes in accreditation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support and deliver implementation of the new standards and procedures, including development of processes, tools, and guides for your allocated programs.
  • Support and deliver the development of change management and communication plans, and activities including training plans, stakeholder management, and transition to business-as-usual plans.
  • Work collaboratively to oversee the project plans for each Advanced training program, detailed milestones for achievement, resourcing, and dependencies for the successful delivery of the new AMC Model standards.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations to internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stake holders to ensure appropriate implementation and transition occurs
  • Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.

  • Demonstrated administrative, organisational, and multi-tasking skills
  • A commitment to professional client service and requirements for confidentiality
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in a related field and/or relevant experience
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite (MS Visio and MS Project desirable) and databases
