Job Description
About the Role
This is a newly created position (Progression Operations Lead) located within the Training Services team. Training Services is responsible for the delivery of advice and services to trainees, supervisors, Directors of Physician/Paediatrics Education, and committees in relation to Physician training programs across Australia.
Progress Review Panels are being introduced as part of our new curricula and they aim to support consistent, fair, and transparent decisions about trainee progression, bring together multiple perspectives and data sources to make robust evidence-based decisions, identify and support trainees who may need additional help, and ensure that trainees are meeting the expected standard for each phase of training.
The Progression Operations Lead is responsible for driving and supporting the change in operational practice to implement new progression processes across the training programs. This includes activities such as
Plan and provide operational leadership to support Staff with implementation of Panels across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Provide guidance and support to both Staff and Panels to embed changes around training progression.
Facilitate compliance with RACP policies and governance.
Monitor and analyse progression data to ensure alignment with College policies and curricula requirements.
Maintain related documentation and generate reports for Training Program Management Committee.
Deliver training and act as subject matter expert for TMP panel and progression features enhancements and issue resolution

About You
You are some one that can work with multiple stakeholders and take them all on a journey to make clear decisions and ensure our new curricula programs and change in operational practice is implemented effectively.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in business operations, training administration, or education support.
High-level documentation and communication skills.
Experience contributing to training and change initiatives.
Experience with issue resolution, support, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in medical education or membership-based organisations.
Experience contributing to training and change initiatives.
Familiarity with multiple systems, at the college we us a combination of Trainee, customer and learning platforms e.g. TMPs, CRMs, or LMSs.
Proficiency in data management and reporting systems.
Understanding of programmatic assessment and evidence-based decision making.
