Job Description
The Role
The Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) Executive Officer (EO) is the primary contact point for AFRM Fellows and trainees and is responsible for managing the relationship with both the AFRM membership and between the Faculty and its parent body, the RACP. The EO provides high level secretariat support for the AFRM Council and its committees. Working with the Manager of Faculties, the EO will support the day-to-day operations of the Faculty whilst meeting the priorities of the Council and their alignment to RACP strategic priorities as set by the RACP Board.
The EO supports the agenda of the Faculty and aims to increase engagement with AFRM members across Australia and New Zealand. The EO also works with College Events, Media and Communications, Education, Policy and Advocacy, Foundation, Governance and Member Services staff to ensure AFRM priorities are executed in alignment with College policy, including communications, publications and events of importance to Faculty members.
