Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.  

Job Description

  • Casual role
  • Varied work hours including evening and weekend work
  • $34.74 per hour/hr plus Super

The Role

This role will provide event and administrative support to the College’s QLD regional office during onsite events and other member activity. Tasks to be completed include:

  • Setup and pack down of meeting rooms (e.g., signage, name tags, furniture, AV equipment).
  • Facilitating smooth running of events by replenishing catering supplies
  • Clearing away and running commercial dishwasher during and after events
  • Assisting attendees to gain access to meeting rooms
  • Administrative support to prepare event and project materials, including name badges, attendance lists and delegate bags.

Work will be sporadic and different from week to week. Work may take place during the day or evening, weekdays or weekends,

Desired Skills and Experience

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an events/hospitality role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional presentation and a customer-first mindset.
  • Flexibility to work across different times and days, sometimes on short notice.
  • Office suite: SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms.
