Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model
3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
2 days from an RACP office location per week,

The Role
The Member Support Officer (MSO) sits within the Regions team and is responsible for providing practical, on the ground, member services across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand including (but not limited to); training and advice on the RACP education programs, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program and Supervisor Professional Development Program (SPDP); coordination and logistical assistance for local meetings and events; and general member support functions.
Other responsibilities include:
Support the rollout of member services initiatives to enhance education and training outcomes
Plan and coordinate trainee education, member engagement events, workshops, and career expos
Deliver and support key state-based member events, including trainee and DPE forums
Act as a key liaison between Member Engagement & Support and local members
Provide training, advice, and implementation support for education programs to trainees and supervisors
Plan and deliver orientations, curriculum sessions, and TMP/PREP training and workshops
Coordinate and support the Supervisor Professional Development Program (SPDP)
Maintain strong stakeholder communication, linking trainees, supervisors, committees, and central teams
Provide secretariat support to committees, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up actions
Contribute to regional, rural and remote initiatives, while driving continuous improvement and adoption of digital solutions
Desired Skills and Experience
The Successful Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will have relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a member services organisation. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a health-related member services organisation
Current drivers licence and own car
Effective written and oral communication skills
Experience providing high level member services and support
Ability to facilitate training workshops
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with members from different parts of an organisation/service or business
A commitment to professional customer / member service
Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
Recognition of requirements for confidentiality
Demonstrated high level skills in managing stakeholder relationships in a complex environment
IT Capabilties: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint and video conferencing platforms
Experience in the NSW/ACT health system would be advantageous.
