The Role
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the end-to-end lifecycle of the online video programs for trainees and physicians in Australia and New Zealand, including post-production and editing of the high quality educational content.
Main duties will include;
Manage the full video program lifecycle, including receiving requests via ticketing systems, scheduling and prioritising projects, tracking progress, maintaining records, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
Execute end-to-end post-production and editing of educational video content using Adobe Premiere and related tools including audio editing, captions, graphics and formatting.
Ensure videos are optimised for online delivery and accessibility.
Conduct citation and reference checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with organisational or academic standards.
-Monitor engagement and feedback to continuously improve the video learning experience and program delivery.
-Stay informed on emerging trends and tools in digital learning and video production.
Extract, analyse and report on video engagement, usage and learning activity data from LMS and video platforms.
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI to track performance of digital learning resources.
Support the Program Lead with data analysis, reporting automation and insights to inform improvements.
Respond to member enquiries related to digital learning resources and the video platform.
Provide guidance and troubleshooting for users accessing video content.
Support internal teams with queries related to digital learning and content management.
Upload, update and maintain learning materials in Moodle LMS as required.
Format and update content using basic HTML and LMS editing tools.
-Ensure materials adhere to organisational standards for layout, structure and accessibility.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have;
A relevant degree or equivalent (video development, multimedia, web development) with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Minimum 2 years experience editing video and audio, preferably in an educational context
Demonstrated advanced experience with Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere and Audition
Demonstrated advanced experience with data analytics and reporting using Advanced Excel and Power BI
Demonstrated basic experience with standard web development technologies, including HTML and CSS and graphics design
Understanding of project management principles, with proven ability to take initiative, prioritise and complete high volume tasks within deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills including highly effective stakeholder management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative, with a proactive and flexible approach
Attention to detail and the logical order of content
Commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment
In order to fulfil this role the candidate will require advanced video editing skills (Adobe Premiere), basic graphic design using Adobe Illustrator, strong data analytics and reporting skills using Advanced Excel and Power BI, and a basic degree of web frontend coding skill including HTML and CSS.
