2 days from an RACP office location per week,

Job Description
The role
The RACP Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the RACP. We award fellowships, scholarships, grants and prizes to those who strive to improve the healthcare we all receive. The Administration Officer supports the logistics around each award’s advertising, processing of applications, selection of recipients (done by Fellows of the College) and delivery of entitlements across the entire RACP Awards Program.
The role involves maintaining and improving processes to support member grants, awards and prize applications. This includes the end-to-end award management journey, quality assurance and generating reports to support process improvement and evaluate impact. Overall, the work of the Administration Officer is essential for delivering quality member experiences throughout the entire awards cycle.
As day in the life of this team can include -
Provide ad-hoc administrative support to Senior Administration Officer (SAO) and Grants Officer, including assisting with:
preparation of documents and maintenance of records
preparation of communications to advertise/promote awards in a variety of channels (ebulletins, emails and newsletters)
ensuring website information is current for all Awards and Prizes.
answering general enquiries in shared mailbox regarding grants and prizes and, where necessary, escalating to appropriate team member
informing applicants of successful/unsuccessful applications
grant coordination using SmartyGrants system
Organising Member travel
Meeting minute taking
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will be highly organised, and process driven. You will also possess:
Ability to develop close working relationships with colleagues and members of the College
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisation and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines
Strong attention to detail
IT Capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms
Desirable: Some experience with the SmartyGrants system
