The Role
The Data Analyst is a key member of the College’s Business Intelligence Hub (BI Hub) which has been created under the stewardship of the Member Services team, with members from the College IT team and data stewards across the College, to undertake automation of data from various sources into the Cloud Azure Enterprise Data Warehouse, prepare data models to support the development of business reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
The Data Analyst’s role is to undertake data analysis to develop data-driven insights that can inform solutions to difficult business challenges and provide accurate and timely insights about College operations and members.

The Successful Candidate
To be successful in the role you will hold relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, and have the following skills and attributes:
Strong analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
Strong attention to detail.
Presentation skills – ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand.
Problem solving skills.
Experience using Power BI to create visualisations
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
