Job Description
The Role
Fixed Term Contract Until 31 December 2027
The RACP is undertaking a broad program of change to redesign training programs, uplift workforce capability, and implement enabling technologies. Central to this is Project TRELLiS, the College’s flagship digital transformation initiative, reimagining member experience while improving operational efficiency, employee experience and reducing cost to serve.
The Training Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering effective learning solutions that support the successful adoption of IT systems and organisational change. The role translates complex technical and business processes into engaging, user-friendly training to build capability, improve performance, and ensure smooth transition to new ways of working. The role leads the delivery of training in conjunction with project and business resources
Key Accountabilities
Recommend appropriate tools and platforms for training development and delivery.
Design, develop, and implement high-quality learning solutions to support the implementation of IT systems, business processes, and capability uplift.
Partner with project managers, SMEs, and change teams to analyse learning needs and define training requirements aligned to project outcomes.
Develop a range of learning assets, including eLearning modules, facilitator guides, user manuals, quick reference guides, videos, and job aids.
Support change management activities by aligning training deliverables with communication and adoption strategies.
Lead training delivery which may include facilitating training sessions (virtual and face-to-face), in conjunction with project and business resources.
Collaborate with project and business stakeholders to ensure training is delivered on time and supports project milestones.
Measure training effectiveness
Provide post-implementation support, including refresher training, troubleshooting guidance, and user support materials.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Min 5 years designing, building and delivering technology training solutions
Min 3 years working in organisation wide technology implementations such as ERP or CRM
Experience delivering TTT and end-user training in virtual environments
Experience with implementations that include a high degree of process change
Highly developed understanding of authoring tools, SCORM packages and LMS integration
IT Capabilities:Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms
