3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
2 days from an RACP office location per week,
1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
Job Description
The Role
The Education Policy, Research and Evaluation Unit undertakes educational research and evaluation across all aspects of physician training. The unit is responsible for the evaluation of the implementation of curricula, methods of assessment and teaching and learning, and accreditation of work-based training settings
In this role you would be designing, coordinating and monitoring evaluation and research projects to actively develop and improve products, procedures and processes for Education, Learning and Assessment team whilst managing stakeholder relations to support these initiatives. You will be able to contribute to research capacity building initiatives across the RACP.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience in research design and data analysis
Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination
Demonstrated strong leadership skills with experience delivering outcomes in a complex environment and with tight timeframes
Extensive knowledge of research methods, evaluation principles and approaches
Experience in research projects related to education
Proficiency in statistics and statistical applications
Tact and sensitivity to confidential issues
Substantial experience of managing stakeholders and evaluating feedback
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines in a high workload area
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently
Proficiency in using relevant data analysis software such as SPSS and NVivo
High level written and oral communication skills
