The Role
The Member Support Officer (MSO) sits within the Aotearoa New Zealand Member Engagement and Support (MES) team which facilitates internal and external stakeholder relationships, working in a trans-Tasman environment to provide excellent communications and advocacy. The MES team supports internal and external events and works collaboratively across College teams.
The MSO’s purpose is to create member value by providing administrative, communication and governance support to the MES team and RACP members.
In this role, you will:
Act as an on-going communication channel between the Aotearoa NZ office and local membership, via email and phone communication channels.
Provide high level communication to stakeholders and members
Provide high level administration and secretariat support to Committees, including meeting agendas, minutes, preparation of meeting papers, invited speakers, zoom links, action plans and other reporting requirements
Work collaboratively across College Teams to support the delivery of member engagement initiatives in Aotearoa NZ, in alignment with the College’s Member Engagement Strategy.
Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, streamline processes, and embed consistent practices
Desired Skills and Experience
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in the role, you will posess:
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
Effective written and oral communication skills
Experience providing high level member services and support
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with members from different parts of an organisation/service or business
A commitment to professional customer / member service
Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
Recognition of requirements for confidentiality
Demonstrated high level skills in managing stakeholder relationships in a complex environment
