Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.

The Role

The RACP is undertaking a significant transformation program which is designed to enhance member value, modernise core systems, and build the digital and data capabilities needed to thrive in a changing health and education landscape. The program's key goals are to significantly improve member satisfaction, employee experience and reduce cost to serve. 

The Content Designer sits within the member experience workstream in the program. The role is responsible for developing, optimising and migrating user-focused content for RACP’s website and portal to support the delivery of the member experience vision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and create new content, and optimise existing content, to support the redevelopment of RACP’s website and portal.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify content needs, gather information and make sure content is accurate.
  • Transform complex information into clear, user-focused content that reflects best practice content design principles.
  • Migrate and author content in RACP’s new CMS (content management system).
  • Work with the content lead, content designers, UX and design to ensure content supports seamless member journeys, aligns to brand guidelines and delivers on experience goals.
  • Support the development and rollout of content governance frameworks, workflows and guidelines to ensure quality and consistency across channels.
  • Deliver training activities for content authors, approvers, and business users in effective CMS use, including creation of documentation and guidelines.
  • Support testing and CMS testing activities as appropriate.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 years professional experience working a Content Designer, Content Specialist or similar role. 
  • Proven experience planning, writing, editing and optimising content for digital platforms (websites, portals etc).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Optimizely preferred).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Practical grounding in content design principles and application.
  • IT capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platform.
