The Role The RACP is undertaking a broad program of change to uplift workforce capability and implement enabling technologies. Central to this is Project TRELLiS, the College’s flagship digital transformation initiative, reimagining member experience while improving operational efficiency, employee experience and reducing cost to serve.
The Senior Data Analyst responsible for performing data analysis across multiple systems, including gathering and documenting data requirements, defining business rules, and developing complex data mappings and specifications. The role requires the ability to interpret and deconstruct complex data structures to deliver efficient, business focused outcomes that support operational and reporting requirements.
The Senior Data Analyst will also be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure data analysis, preparation activities, and reporting outputs align with business requirements and comply with agreed solution designs. The role is responsible for delivering accurate, high quality, and fit-for-purpose data documentation to support successful project and business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Analysis of datasets across multiple legacy applications to support data migration activities across the TRELLiS program
Deliver key insights and analysis relating to the Member experience engagement framework cohort
Assist with investigative work to determine future dataset requirements for TRELLiS
Conduct impact analysis and document data changes required
Prepare and maintain detailed data mapping documentation for the new system
Ensure the continuation of critical reporting during transition, and migrating platforms as part of TRELLiS
Lead maintenance and cleansing guidance activities on all relevant datasets. Including analysis, data quality, business engagement, cleansing etc.
Troubleshooting of issues and risks, providing well founded advice to the program
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience in data analysis across multi systems projects; experience in gathering and documenting data requirements, data business rules and development of complex data maps.
Experience in data cleansing, preparation and visualisation using tools (eg. Power BI)
Experience in in business transformational change projects involving system development and data migration from a number of disparate IT systems to a single source of truth system
Ability to liaise and maintain a professional relationship with technical staff, internal customers, program teams and the vendor team
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Strong data background (health domain advantageous)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred
