Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.

 The Role

People & Culture (P&C) provide an integral function within the College as specialist advisors and enablers of strategies and initiatives to create high levels of employee engagement and performance. The key deliverables for the role are partnering with the business to drive People & Culture initiatives and support the business in performance management, remuneration, employee relations, WHS and all generalist activities. The role is a true generalist with an operational focus but will have a strong transformational change aspect.

Desired Skills and Experience

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in the role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related area, and 3-5 years previous experience working in a similar role. The successful candidate will also possess:

  •  Demonstrated competence in human resource disciplines including compensation, organisational development, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, engagement, change management.
  • Advanced consulting and client management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from HR metrics to inform business decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to implement new strategies to address complex business issues.
  • Experience working with restructures, including role analysis, consultation and redundancy processes
  • Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
