The Role
The Executive Officer (EO) supports the operational delivery of RACP services in Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for Fellows and Trainees. Reporting to the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) VIC/TAS, the EO sits within the regions team and plays an important role in translating College-wide initiatives into VIC and TAS-specific delivery and contributing VIC and TAS insights into national planning.
The role provides operational support to State Committees, supports regional service delivery (outreach with training, supervision, CPD, events, and member engagement), and supports alignment with national strategies, policies and standards. Key accountabilities include:
Provide high quality administration and secretariat support to VIC/TAS State Committees including meeting agenda, minutes, preparation of meeting papers, invited speakers, zoom links, action plans and other reporting requirements.
Take ownership of Committee outcomes, drive actions, and foster strong Committee member engagement. Manage all post-meeting administration tasks.
Provide project management support for the SEO in implementation of regional, rural and remote training and member engagement initiatives in VIC/TAS by working with local health partners, and rural training sites to identify needs, strengthen relationships, and ensure regional issues are incorporated into national planning.
Provide high level communication to stakeholders and members and be the link between the State Committees, and trainees, local supervisors, Education Support Officers, RACP Education Services and Professional practice team.
Identify opportunities for improved member experience and improved support for RACP training education and training programs
Plan and coordinate RACP VIC/TAS educational and member engagement events, workshops and career expos in accordance with RACP timelines.
