Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.

 The Role

The Wellbeing, Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting initiatives that promote a physically and psychologically safe, healthy, and compliant workplace for our teams. 

Working within the People & Culture team, the role partners closely with leaders and employees to identify and manage physical and psychosocial hazards, strengthen workplace culture, support employee wellbeing, and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety obligations.

The role combines operational WHS responsibilities with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention, employee wellbeing, psychosocial risk management, and fostering respectful and safe workplace behaviours.

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

The Successful Candidate

  • A tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety, Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in workplace health and safety, psychosocial safety, employee wellbeing, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to quickly build relationships and provide trusted advice to leaders and employees.
  • Experience managing psychosocial risks, workplace wellbeing matters, and sensitive employee issues.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, including psychosocial hazard obligations.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations, risk assessments, and incident management processes.
