Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model
- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week,
- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
The D365 Solution Architect - Core and Data role is part of our digital transformation program of work at the RACP called Project TRELLIS. This team which is responsible for the implementation of a solution that underpins the delivery of improved employee and member experience “the north star” via new technology and new/improved processes. The Solution Architect works closely with the Core Systems & Data Analytics Program Manager and the core project team to ensure the effective and efficient management of TRELLIS.
Key responsibilities:
Architecture Design: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals and IT strategy. Create detailed solution architectures and documentation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business leaders, IT teams, and partners to gather requirements, facilitate alignment, and ensure consensus on architectural decisions.
Technology Evaluation and Selection: Assess emerging technologies and trends, recommend tools aligned with architectural principles and roadmaps, and perform cost-benefit analyses.
Solution Implementation: Lead architecture solution implementation, overseeing design, development, and deployment to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Documentation and Communication: Produce comprehensive technical documentation and effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Leadership: Guide project teams, review technical designs, ensure compliance with best practices, stay updated on Microsoft D365 CE and Power Platform, and manage vendor technical deliverables.
Governance and Best Practices: Establish governance frameworks, conduct code reviews, enforce security standards, and ensure compliance with regulations for D365 projects.
This role will begin at the start of January 2026
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing Microsoft D365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
- Proven track record as a solution architect or technical lead in large-scale CRM projects.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of the D365 CE platform, including modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service.
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Experience with Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with common CRM integration patterns and technologies
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Desired:
- Microsoft certifications related to D365 CE, Power Platform and Azure.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in a similar organisation
